Monensin sodium salt can affect the ion balance of the insect body, resulting in the rupture and death of the insect body. Application:
Monensin sodium salt mainly acts on the early life history of coccidia (sporozoite to the first generation of schizozoites), which can interfere with the normal exchange of sodium and potassium ions in coccidia cells, so that a large number of sodium ions enter the cell, resulting in increased sodium ion concentration in the cell and increased osmotic pressure. The concentration of ions inside and outside the cell is out of balance, metabolism is disturbed, and cell energy is exhausted. In addition, due to the increase of ions in the cell, a large amount of water penetrates into the cell, causing the cell to swell and eventually rupture.
