Section 3 - HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
  EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
Toxic by inhalation and if swallowed. Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin.Moisture sensitive.Lachrymator (substance which increases the flow of tears).
Potential Health Effects
Eye:
Lachrymator (substance which increases the flow of tears). Causes eye irritation and possible burns. May cause reversible inflammation and corneal injury with opacity.
Skin:
May cause skin sensitization, an allergic reaction, which becomes evident upon re-exposure to this material. Causes skin irritation and possible severe skin irritation especially if the skin is wet or moist.
Ingestion:
Harmful if swallowed. May cause gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Inhalation:
Causes respiratory tract irritation. Can produce delayed pulmonary edema. Inhalation may produce coughing, nausea, and pulmonary edema.
In rare instances, exposure may cause sensitization, resulting in inflammation of the mucous membranes and in eczematous eruptions.
Chronic:
Prolonged and/or repeated skin exposure may cause allergic dermatitis.

Section 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES
Eyes: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical aid immediately.
Skin:
In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water.
Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical aid. Wash clothing before reuse.
Ingestion:
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid.
Inhalation:
POISON material. If inhaled, get medical aid immediately. Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.
Notes to Physician:

Section 5 - FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
  General Information:
As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear. During a fire, irritating and highly toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion. This material in sufficient quantity and reduced particle size is capable of creating a dust explosion.
Extinguishing Media:
Use carbon dioxide or dry chemical.

Section 6 - ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
General Information: Use proper personal protective equipment as indicated in Section 8.
Spills/Leaks:
Avoid runoff into storm sewers and ditches which lead to waterways.
Clean up spills immediately, observing precautions in the Protective Equipment section. Sweep up, then place into a suitable container for disposal. Avoid generating dusty conditions. Remove all sources of ignition. Provide ventilation. Do not get water inside containers.

Section 7 - HANDLING and STORAGE
  Handling:
Wash hands before eating. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid ingestion and inhalation. Wash clothing before reuse. Discard contaminated shoes.
Do not breathe dust. Use only with adequate ventilation.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances. Do not store in metal containers. Keep containers tightly closed. Store protected from moisture.

Section 8 - EXPOSURE CONTROLS, PERSONAL PROTECTION
  Engineering Controls:
Facilities storing or utilizing this material should be equipped with an eyewash facility and a safety shower. Use adequate general or local exhaust ventilation to keep airborne concentrations below the permissible exposure limits.
Exposure Limits CAS# 532-27-4: United Kingdom, WEL - TWA: 0.05 ppm TWA; 0.32 mg/m3 TWA United Kingdom, WEL - STEL: 0.15 ppm STEL; 0.96 mg/m3 STEL United States OSHA: 0.05 ppm TWA; 0.3 mg/m3 TWA Belgium - TWA: 0.05 ppm VLE; 0.32 mg/m3 VLE France - VME: 0.05 ppm VME; 0.3 mg/m3 VME Germany: 0.3 mg/m3 TWA Malaysia: 0.05 ppm TWA; 0.32 mg/m3 TWA Netherlands: 0.05 ppm MAC; 0.3 mg/m3 MAC Spain: 0.05 ppm VLA-ED; 0.32 mg/m3 VLA-ED Personal Protective Equipment Eyes: Wear chemical splash goggles.
